Description: The Middle East Domari, also known as gypsies, are a nomadic people living throughout the Middle East. Their language is most closely related to languages found in India. Some believe they originiated in South Asia and migrated over the last two thousand years. Their habitation covers thousands of miles from North Africa through Central Asia.
Prayer Points:
• The Domari converted to Islam over many centuries and they still practice many of their traditional practices such as fortune telling. Pray for deliverance from demonic influence and for freedom through the gospel.
• The Domari are despised and discriminated against throughout the Middle East. Pray that they might embrace the hope of the gospel and find their eternal and infinite value in Christ.
• The Domari have dozens of sub-groups, such as the Ghawazi who are famous as dancers. Pray that the unique giftings and art forms of the Ghawazi might become an offering of praise that brings glory to God's kingdom.
